well the trait i picked was the postivity trait. i picked this one beacuse i think being positive is really important. it lets people know that they dont have to feel bad that they did something wrong and it lkets them known they did something good too. it should look like everyone having smiles on their faces and not feel bad.

  2. I am going to pick respect to talk about. I feel like this is one of the hardest "rules" to follow- espically when you are with peers. We all mean well usually, but it's hard to stop and listen to others who aren't in your same friend group or who you've heard rumors about around school. Respect is very important to having a loving and good class this year. (: I'm excited and I really hope this "rule" sticks.

  4. I think it is really important for everybody to participate in a class like this. If you're not engaging yourself in the activity, then it makes it a lot less fun for everybody. Lack of participation can also be dangerous because if we're doing something like repelling down the walls, your group members need to be 100% engaged in order to ensure your safety! By participating, everyone should be working hard and having fun.

  5. I think patience is really important in this class. Not everyone is going to get everything on the first try and that's okay. People need to be understanding that everyone has different abilities and will take different amounts of time for them to succeed. Everyone being patient will create a positive experience nad make class more enjoyable. Being patient also includes waiting for one another and being willing to help someone else for as long as they need, so they can be successful too.

  6. I believe that patience is most important in life. All people are different, we learn different, talk different, and we go threw different things. When we open up on Fridays I think it's important to stop and listen and learn. Honestly if you just stop and listen you can become more open minded.

  7. I think participation is really important in this class. If not everybody participates, the general atmosphere could go down. If all of us participate, I think this year could really become a positive experience.

  8. I think being nonjudgmental is really important because if we're going to be doing things in this class that are outside our comfort zone it will be so much easier to do them if we know that other classmates are not being judgmental.

  9. I feel that support is one of the most important parts of this class. Every student should support one another in whatever activity that we're doing. Some of the activities might now be easy and only with the full support of the class can every one of us feel comfortable and try to do our best.

  10. I think that 100% effort is important because if not everyone gives effort, we won't get the full experience. It should sound like cheering and encouragement, look like focused people really trying, and feel like everyone is having fun!

  11. I think respect is one of the most important things this class needs to be fun. If people do not respect one another, classmates will not feel as comfortable, and would probably be less likely to participate to their fullest.

  12. I think having a positive attitude is important in this class. One negative outlook can affect many people and bring the spirits of the class down. Being optimistic creates an engaging and happy environment!

  13. I think respect is the number one trait in this class. If people respect eachother then they will participate more often

  15. I pick respect, although a few people already talked about it, I think. Respect is super important for this class. Everybody needs to respect the fact that some people are slower or less fit than others. Some people won't be able to do the same things that others can do. When you can respect others, they can learn to respect you. It can also be really easy to disrespect someone because they might have a reputation or give off an exterior attitude that you might not be used to. If we can all learn to respect each other and our "natural states," this class could be more united. We should all feel comfortable with each other, unafraid/not worrying of what others may think of us.

  16. I think a positive attitude will be extremely vital in a class like this. Since smiles are contagious, we'll be much more likely to have a good time if we make an effort to put our bad moods behind us and encourage each other and enjoy the class.

  18. In this class communication should be people talking with each other. When we have the opportunity to chat, it could be as simple as discussing our day with someone. However, communication should also be evident when we play games or rock climb or other activities like that. Communication in those cases would entail making sure everybody knows what is going on, letting someone know if there's something wrong, or asking if someone is ready. Communication should mean that we hear people talking.

  19. I picked non judgmental because in our class we need to be ourselves and be able to make mistakes and learn from them not be judged. Like the activity we did the other day where we made a noise and montion while crossing the floor we didn't judge each other instead we supported one another. We cheered people crossing and gave them ideas. I think thats how not being judgdmental should look.

  20. I believe friendliness will help each student to be more comfortable and open in class. Being friendly is just talking to classmates that you normally wouldn't talk to and just ask about how their weekend was. This could spark something in common with that other person and bond through that which is making new friends.

  21. I think postivity is important in this class. Especially when someone's having a bad day, adventure PE should be the class they can feel relaxed in and encouraged by other students. Also, enthusiasm is contagious! (:

  22. I think trust is important in a class like this. we have to put trust in eachother to feel comfortable and safe with the activities we do. whether it's climbing up and down walls or just tieing knots, we have to put trust in our class mates and know that they are capable. if we don't have trust then our activities will not flow as smoothly and people will not be as willing to try new things.

  23. Posistivity is the most important thing in a class like this. Positivity would look like everyone being nice around eachother and really encouraging your other classmates to do better. It should sound like "Good Job!" or "You'll get it next time!" These gestures will help everyone feel better and also boost their confidence. In this class you should feel no negativity. When one person sends out postive vibes everyone else feels good too.

  24. Patience is the most important to me. In a class were everyone might not know each other so great patience would look like everybody taking the time to get to know each other and working together.I should sound like people helping each other when someone doesn't fully understand an activity. It should feel like everyone is understanding of each other's strengths and weakness and make the best of them.

  25. Patience seems the most important because it can be a valuable lesson for a lot of people in the class. As people we are always being rushed to get things done because were in a working generation, but for this class I feel that we need to be patient and helpful to one another. We should not hear remarks on how this person could be taking a while to learn a new experience. Instead we should encourage and understand that we all have weaknesses and strengths. I should see people work together and help each other out, and not neglect them because of our impatient attitude.

  26. I think trust is the most important thing for this class. It will look like people having confidence in each other and this will allow people to feel more secure when trying new things.

  27. Revised:
I think participation is most important. Participation will look like everyone's attention on the task at hand with everyone shouting out ideas or encouragement to each other.

  28. One of the important things we have to remember in this class is to be patient. There are many ways we will probably see patience in gym. If we are working in groups, everyone will have to be patient to wait for the other group members to finish. Or if we are doing an activity with the entire class we have to wait our turn.

  29. I think trust is important to a good class. When people trust each other, it automatically turns into participation. Trust feels like everyone being willing to interact with anyone and looks like one big group instead many little groups.

  30. Providing each other with support is going to be very important in this class. We should be able to help people finish their tasks and offer them encouragement along the way. Just like how in the jump rope activity, the entire class cheered on those who still had to go over the rope and offered them advice and words of encouragement.

  31. Respect
Respect is something that should be given to everyone no matter the circumstances. No matter if you like a person or not you should always give them the respect they deserve. It also means if they are scared or nervous to do something respect that they have boundaries. Give people the space they deserve.

  32. i think communitcation is an important trait to have in this class because without it, people wouldn't feel safe with what they were doing. Communitcation is good for getting to know people and to also make people trust each other.

  33. Trust is the most important trait our class can use. If there's no trust, then there isn't anything! by getting to know each other we'll begin to grow and expand on this value and soon enough it will be enough to advance in the class.
